LA Tennis Academy brings the tennis court to schools, daycare centers, parks and recreation departments to introduce children ages 3 and up to tennis.
Using completely mobile, age-appropriate nets, youth-sized racquets and teaching balls designed especially for young children, we transform any small area within a school into a tennis court.
We strongly believe in the principles that children learn best when they are having fun and feel good about themselves, and that children develop sport skills in a very sequential manner. Thus, we combine fun-filled games, activities, and carefully designed and graduated lessons to assist each individual child develop and improve his or her gross motor skills, hand eye coordination, strength and endurance, while also helping them learn sportsmanship, and build self-esteem and personal character. Kids and their parents receive regular progress reports tracking the child's progress.
All classes are taught by certified tennis professionals specializing in teaching children's tennis.
All instructors are committed to the philosophy of teaching and motivating children through positive reinforcement.
