LA TENNIS ACADEMY
Since its start in 2004 as a tennis instruction and management company, LA Tennis Academy has specialized in teaching children ages 3 and up. Using mobile, age appropriate equipment, we bring the tennis court to children at their schools, day care centers, etc.
Learning is approached in a playful and diverse manner. Basic technical skills are taught while allowing the child to stay spontaneous and show creative skills.
Children learn and perform best when they feel good about themselves. Our use of age-appropriate nets, racquets and balls, size of court, and commitment to positive reinforcement places the child in the best possible conditions for success.
Each class is taught by a certified tennis professional specializing in teaching children's tennis. Our classes:
. Are one-half to one hour long with 6 - 8 kids per class
. Include a brief warm-up, basic skill development, and games to reinforce learned skills
. Are designed to afford graduated skill development
. Award each child a Certificate of Achievement for each completed session
Our continued growth into sports programs other than tennis has led to the creation of LA SPORTS ACADEMY.
While LA SPORTS ACADEMY is more descriptive of our varied sports programs, it doesn’t change our commitment to providing high quality, fun-filled programs that teach the basics of a sport while also developing general fitness, coordination and social skills.
